The Library of the Faculty of Theology is a joint facility of the five institutes of theology and the Schleiermacher Research Centre, and is also part of the Kiel University Library.

The library is open to all students and members of the university as well as all those with scientific interests.

The library is a reference library with limited lending possibilities.


The library has ca. 100 single workplaces and several group workrooms.


PhD candidates and exam candidates can reserve a workplace for a limited amount of time.


Lockers are available for your personal effects. Please bring your own padlock.
